When excellence matters… D2 tiled the floor in my 160-year-old Victorian-style kitchen. As is often the case in old homes, it was a very challenging install.

Entertainment Center - North Haven
We recently had a custom built entertainment center designed built and installed by D2. They were able to create a product we envisioned and described to them to perfection.
This isn't the first project we've had D2 do for us either. They've completed a custom stone fireplace project for us as well as a complete kitchen and bathroom renovation.

Interior Remodel - Hamden
After meeting with several contractors who either did not follow through on various aspects of assessing, pricing, and performing jobs, I found Dave and Jr. from D2 Design Build. Since then, Dave and his trusted and talented sidekick Jr. have performed various jobs at our home. They have been truly professional in all aspects of the jobs- they communicate well, provide designs and estimates, create fair price points, and show up when they say they are going to.
They created a safe work environment around my home, and it’s at a point where I trust them to come in and out of my home like members of the family. Those “old school” values and work ethic are missing in today’s contractors, and I was lucky to find them. The quality of work, service, creativity, and craftsmanship has been second to none.
In the last 6 months, they have remodeled and repaired a front porch, installed indoor closets, and completely finished a room from top to bottom, including amazing bamboo flooring. They will be installing French doors, designing and building more custom cabinets, installing a motorized ceiling TV mount, as well as designing and building a back deck, new kitchen cabinets, and counter tops. Dave has coordinated with and referred me to quality electricians and plumbers who have also helped in projects.
